For every stalled Bellwether deliverable we decide whether to keep waiting, escalate or change the plan. Each item waits on something outside the Juniper House team, so the question is who asks for it and by when.
Four deliverables were at risk at the September review on Sep 16. One blocks the media launch. Late approvals, an unavailable subject expert and two overdue landing page inputs are the causes.
The media launch date is protected
We deferred one article and assigned substitute expertise so the launch keeps its date. The risk reopens if the substitute review finds the evidence incomplete.
| Deliverable | Waiting on | Days behind | Escalate to | By when | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paid media launch assets | 2 landing page inputs from Bellwether | 4 | Amira Patel directly | Sep 29 | Zoe Hart |
| Cardiology article | Subject expert, substitute now assigned | 6 | No escalation, substitute review | After first draft | Ines Varga |
| Screening landing page | Approval | 3 | Amira Patel | Sep 28 | Zoe Hart |
| September newsletter | Approval | 2 | Amira Patel | Sep 28 | Noah Bishop |
The rule: after 2 business days with no answer from the usual contact, the account director writes to the named approver with a specific date, not a general check in.
Escalates approvals and scope questions.
Owns launch inputs and the landing page.
Owns the cardiology article and the substitute review.
When to stop waiting and change the plan
If a blocker survives two reviews with no movement, the delivery lead brings a plan B instead of repeating the escalation: a new date, a scoped workaround or a deferral Amira approves.
