Two actions are done, three are with hotel general managers and one has waited longest. Days open run from the day Saltbridge Academy sent the request to Kittridge to September 29. Each open action has a date it is needed by, and each date sits before module 3 starts on October 12.

Oldest action: workplace mentors for the four coastal hotels, open 16 days
The mentor list for the four coastal hotels has had no owner since the regional manager left. The request was addressed to a role nobody held, so there was no one to answer it. Olivia Holloway took the mentor assignments herself and set October 7.Consequence: if the mentors are not named by October 7, learners at the four coastal hotels start module 3 on October 12 without a workplace mentor. Joaquin Ibarra will raise it with Olivia that day rather than wait for the next count.
Who owns what
Two owners at Kittridge carry the six actions, and Joaquin Ibarra raises and counts them. Four of the six sit with the hotel general managers, and the list shows each of their open actions by name so a general manager can find theirs.

How an action closes
Every action follows the same path. An action is closed only when the owner has done it and the result is on the cohort record, not when someone says it is in hand.
- Action raised: Joaquin Ibarra sends it with the evidence, an owner and a date.
- Owner named at Kittridge: If nobody holds the role, Joaquin asks Olivia Holloway to name one.
- Owner acts: Release, cover, sign off or assign.
- Result recorded: The result goes on the cohort record.
- Action closed: Only once the result is recorded. If the date passes first, Joaquin decides whether to escalate to Olivia.
The coastal mentors sat at the second step for 16 days: the action had no named owner until Olivia took it. The other three open actions have owners and are at the third step.
