Tarrow open order commitment status
Tarrow open order commitment status

Owner: Benedict Oyelaran. Updated Oct 1, 2026.
Orders at a glance
The committed date for each of the 11 open Tarrow orders, taken from the last authorized commitment, with the two confirmed casting delays disclosed and one order held for a decision because its system date and its committed date differ by 9 days. Prepared by the Keelson customer service lead from approved sources for the Tarrow planner and buyer, including Ingrid Solheim, director of purchasing at Tarrow Pump Systems. Rosalind Chau, vice president of engineering at Keelson Precision Manufacturing, decides which date is supportable. Benedict Oyelaran, commercial operations manager, publishes the status. The next status is published on Oct 12.
Orders on their last authorized commitment
Eight of the 11 open orders are on their last authorized commitment. Two carry a confirmed exception and one needs a supportable date. The count below is the one the Tarrow planner sees first.
Open orders on their last authorized commitment, 8 of 11
Open orders and their dates
Dates are in days from Sep 28. Each row shows the last authorized commitment, the current production date and a short note. Eight rows have the same number in both columns.
Order 2287 is one of the eight on commitment. Its committed date is Nov 7 at 400 units, and the quantity change from 400 to 650 is at impact review. If Tarrow accepts the change, the date for that order moves to Nov 28, and that is a separate decision recorded on the order change impact review.
Committed date and current date
Each pair of points is one order that is not on its last authorized commitment. The gap between the points is how far the current production date is from the commitment. Two gaps are 14 days and one is 9 days.
| Order | Part | Quantity | Order value | Committed | Current | Gap | State |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tarrow order 2284 | HSG-410-D pump housings | 90 | $58,950 | Oct 26 | Nov 9 | 14 days | |
| Tarrow order 2291 | HSG-512-D pump housings | 75 | $67,875 | Nov 2 | Nov 16 | 14 days | |
| Tarrow order 2295 | IMP-310-B impellers | 250 | $31,500 | Nov 7 | Nov 16 | 9 days |
Where each date comes from
A date is published only if it comes from an approved source. The production system date is shown beside the commitment for comparison and is never published as a commitment on its own.
Casting supplier delay on two orders
Tarrow order 2284 and Tarrow order 2291 are both pump housings that wait on castings from the same supplier, which is two weeks late. Order 2284 was committed for Oct 26 and now shows Nov 9. Order 2291 was committed for Nov 2 and now shows Nov 16. Both are disclosed as confirmed exceptions with Urgent priority, and both stay shown with the original commitment beside the new date. Benedict Oyelaran gives Tarrow the casting recovery date in the Oct 12 status.
Order 2295: system date and committed date differ by 9 days
Order 2295 is 250 impellers, IMP-310-B, worth $31,500. The committed date is Nov 7 and the production system shows Nov 16. The system date moved after a machine reassignment at Keelson Plant 2, and nobody decided whether the customer commitment moved with it. Owner: Benedict Oyelaran. Decision: Rosalind Chau decides which date is supportable. Until then: the published date stays at the last authorized commitment of Nov 7, and Nov 16 is not published as a commitment. Consequence: if Nov 16 is the supportable date, order 2295 becomes a third exception and Tarrow decides on the delivery date change. If Nov 7 holds, planning corrects the system date.
A date that moved in the system is not a date we have promised. The supportable date is the one I can stand behind in front of Tarrow.
